“When we got home from our parent trip to Tuscany with Alchemy Adventures, we told all of our friends and family that the trip scored an 11 out of 10!! Everything you could possibly want from a vacation was thoughtfully incorporated into this trip: hiking and sightseeing, breathtaking landscapes and stunning views, architecture and art, authentic Tuscan wining and dining, (especially the wine part!), stopping and shopping, laughing and relaxing – all with a small group of unique yet simpatico fellow travelers. If that weren’t enough, Kim and Angie also expertly led us through discussion groups on self-exploration and reconnecting as a couple, on this wonderful trip. They helped us to achieve our special goals for this vacation - to slow down, relax, experience the culture and enjoy one another!
As we hiked the beautiful, scenic hills and valleys of picturesque Tuscany, we could watch the old, walled cities where we had stayed the night before fade in the distance, as the next destination appeared. Eric, the Captain of Adventures, made sure that all of the logistics and guided hikes ran smoothly, throughout the whole trip. The best part was knowing that all we had to do each day was to wake up and follow Kim and Eric! They knew all of the proprietors at the lodgings, all of the restaurant owners where special dinners were prepared for us, and it made us feel as though we were visiting family!
