Some trips are just tours. My Alchemy Adventure was much more. It was full of moments I will carry with me forever. The difference is Kim. We are excited to announce our women’s trip to Egypt: the land of antiquity and magic! Egypt is known as one of the world’s most sacred lands, and it has a story to tell! Be awed as history comes to life within the walls of its ancient temples and famed pyramids! Feel the mystery of the tombs of ancient kings and queens. Let your soul be captured by the natural beauty of its sandy deserts and your heart filled by its warm and welcoming culture. Be transported back in time as we travel by a private cruise boat up the River Nile. Soak up the sun, swim in the Red Sea, or relax on the beach. Travel deep into the Sinai desert for the sacred pilgrimage up Mount Sinai and it's breathtaking views of the blue-green peaks at sunset.
During this adventure we will be joined by SemSem, our dear friend and Egyptologist, voted best tour guide in the world! He will enlighten us with ancient history and captivate us with the mythology and tales of this magical culture! His warmth and wisdom will have you feeling like family by the end of the trip. Just Imagine…
DAYS 1 to 3: CAIRO
Our adventure begins in the sprawling capital of Cairo. You’ll arrive in Cairo and be greeted by your hosts, then have the afternoon to soak up the colorful tastes, sights, and sounds of the 15th largest city in the world! Together, we'll visit the Saladin Citadel and the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, home to twenty mummified kings and queens of Ancient Egypt. As evening falls we’ll dine overlooking this grand city and celebrate the beginning of this magical experience together!
The next days in Cairo will include visits the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, and Saqqara, the ancient burial ground of Egyptian royalty. Delight in a home cooked meal at our friend's small farm restaurant, then soak up the Egyptian sun poolside with live music and your favorite cocktail or mocktail!
The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) is finally open! We’ll spend an afternoon exploring the world’s largest archeological museum and dive into the culture and history of this ancient land!
DAYS 4 TO 5: ASWAN
After an early flight to Aswan we’ll head to the Temple of Philae on an island in the Nile then sail to a Nubian village, thought to be one of the earliest cradles of civilization. There a local family will host us for a few surprises! That evening we’ll board our five star deluxe private river cruise, our home for the next five nights as we float up the Nile!
The next morning delights with a sunrise visit to the miraculous temple of Abu Simbel. As evening falls we'll explore the colorful local markets filled with spices and handmade goods.
DAYS 6 TO 8: LUXOR
As we cruise toward Luxor, we’ll stop to explore the magnificent temple of Kom Ombo, or “the hill of gold,” and the vast complex of the Karnak temple. After a stop at the famed Luxor Temple we’ll return to the cruise boat to enjoy a relaxing afternoon basking in the sun. In the evening soak up sunset as you indulge in cocktails, mocktails, and lavish eats!
The next morning we’ll travel back through time to one of the most famed archeological sites known to man: the Valley of the Kings, home to 62 known tombs of the dynasties of the recent centuries, including Tutankhamun. Visit the magnificent Hatshepsut (Hat-ship-suit) Temple, then round out the day at the shops of master artisans of papyrus and alabaster!
DAYS 9 TO 11: SOUTHERN SINAI
The final leg of our adventure will take us to the southern Sinai Peninsula! The quaint desert beach town of Dahab will be our home for the next three days. Formerly a Bedouin fishing village, Dahab is now considered to be one of Egypt's most treasured diving destinations. From our seaside hotel you'll soak up the sun, swim in the Red Sea, or relax on the beach. Our dear friend Mohammed will guide us deep into the Sinai desert for the sacred pilgrimage up Mount Sinai and its breathtaking views of the blue-green peaks at sunset. Visit the famous monastery of St. Catherine and hear tales of Mohammed's family and the Bedouin way of life. Our final day by the sea stroll the boardwalk, explore the traditional Bedouin shops and restaurants, and bask in the joy and alchemy at a final celebration like nothing you've experienced before!
DAYS 12 TO 13: CAIRO
Return to Cairo with a full heart, an inspired soul, and forever connections to a tribe of women and a land full of mysteries and magic! This is sure to be an adventure like no other!

I had no idea what I was venturing into. Just said yes to my girlfriend. I had been curious about who Kim was and wanted to know her. I had read her website a few times, but never imagined treating myself to a guided adventure. I was continuously in awe in every moment. Keeping so much in secret, being surprised over and over, and helping us stay in the present moment was such a beautiful gift. Right from the get go we were offered space to connect with one another which made it so easy to drop in. It was all pure magic. I didn’t want it to end. The alchemy of all of it, of all of us was profound. Forever grateful to our beautiful guides and group for a trip of a lifetime. My heart is overflowing with Love and Gratitude.
